I hate winter but don't mind snow too much (i figure it should look pretty outside if it's gonna be cold) so I love to just watch it fall, especially if it's those big fat flakes.  I like to take a hike on a snowy evening too as I love the way the sounds of the city are super muffled and almost go away. It's very peaceful to hear only the sound of crunching snow beneath my feet.  We're expecting lots of snow tomorrow so I'm looking forward to building a big snowman in my yard. I haven't done that in years.

Watch good movies and veg out! I miss snow days. Well I work from home so I don't get out in it unless I choose but still, school snow days were fun. We were supposed to get 3 in-1foot from the storm but barely got a dusting :-). We still have snow from last week.. lol to melt away soon! So ready for Spring!

Same as I do any other day, except add 'shovel snow' to the list, LOL.

being trapped inside gets me to finally do stuff I'm always putting off, like reoganizing my closet. after i finish that type of stuff I kick back and just watch tv all day. I've started renting a ton of NetFlix when I know a storm is coming so I don't run out of stuff to watch :)

There is something about starting a fire as well (if you have a fireplace) because if you are a shoveler it is nice to come inside to.  I feel like hot chocolate is for snowy days as well;)

I think the whole midwest should definitely be having a snow day today!! UGHHH.  I think I needed a nap as soon as I got into the office.  :)

How much snow have you gotten so far today in Chicago?  We get what you had about 8 hours after you so it's just starting to snow here.

I think we are supposed to be getting around a foot to a foot and a half!!  It just is horrible because offices never close, schools seem to always stay open and no one PLOWS (or shovels for that matter)!!

I am hoping for a snow day....I need some good playtime with my kiddos!
