Sometimes my kids don't want to say goodnight because they don't want to leave me.  I give them something of mine to sleep with, usually a piece of clothing I've worn in the last few days, also affectionately called a "mommy shirt."  They feel like they have a part of me with them and it makes it easier for them to sleep.

Its versus It's (and all other apostrophes):
According to a copy editing instructor for California-based copy editing service provider Edicetera, confusing "its" and "it's" is the most common error in the English language. That one minuscule apostrophe (or lack thereof) drastically changes the meaning of the entire sentence. "It's" is a contraction of "it is," whereas "its" refers to possession.

Write wacky ideas on index cards and when anyone whines, "I'm bored," hand them the deck.  Sometimes, my kids will do one of my ideas, but if they don't like anything I have to offer, they are a little more motivated to come up with their own. What's on a few of my cards:  learn to do laundry, call an out-of-town relative, draw a picture of breathing, make up a dance to a song by . . .

Apis mellifica is sold in health food stores, and is made from bee venom. It is typically used for treating a bee sting, but studies show it helps cure itching and redness from mosquito bites.

Camping can be a great affordable way for families or friends to go somewhere new! Rather than worry about the cost of a hotel, dining out, or entertainment. Try packing a tent, your bikes, some OFF! and make it a less expensive way to see somewhere new!

Campsites are often around $30 where as a hotel averages around $100.
