I got an awesome inexpensive decorating idea from a restaurant I ate lunch at today. Each table had a martini glass with one of those small tea candles in it. It puts a really elegant twist on traditional glass candle holders! So I think I'm going to get several martini glasses from Kmart, fill them with candles and put them along my windowsill.

I have seen that too! Some places even fill the glass with water and buy small tea candles that float!

Super cute! I have seen that done before and I love it! I have seen some places that used colored water and it adds that much more to the table!

This idea is really fun! I ate at a THai restaurant this past weekend and they served the shrimp appetizers in the martini glass! Just another way to extend the idea!

The shrimp idea sounds like something to try! Thanks!

I have had the shrimp in the martini glass before and I loved it! It gave the meal that extra Va Va Voom appeal!

I don't know if I trust myself with teal lights in martini glasses..haha.  I like the idea for  a table setting though.  If you were hosting a dinner party put one at each end.  Isn't it fun when you see something when you are out that you think...hmm that is a great idea!  Thanks for sharing.

I love the idea!! So simple, yet something I would never do on my own! Thanks for sharing!

I like ALL your ideas. The candle in the cocktail glass is actually a graphic representing the Universal Unitarian church!

My boss actually threw a martini & chili party and both were served in different martini glasses. it was really festive!
